Birthday greetings Saturday to Matt Twyman!
Thanks to the 17 who attended the Executive Committee meeting with senior managers/admin last night at The Elwick Club. We can all move forward again with clear objectives. Good news is we will have the schedule/timings for work on the new facility next week.

Ramsgate v Bromley Green Hurricanes (U10s)
Brilliant game by both teams, we came out the winners 3-2, but got to say both sides passing was excellent. David Bridge’s match report and player of the match below – Alex Potts.
BGFC Hurricanes squad: Alfie, Thomas, Nathaniel, Louis, Ibrahim, Ethan, Charlie, Owen, and Sean
A long trip to Margate was worth it for an excellent game played in a great spirit between two well matched teams. Chances flowed at either end but both defences and goalkeepers stood up well. Nathaniel opened the scoring ,with his 2nd goal in 2 games, with an calm back post volley from one of Sean’s excellent crosses. Charlie added a second goal for Bromley Green, calmly taking the ball out of defence before lobbing the keeper.
The second half continued in the same manner with both teams trying to play football. Alfie again kept up his rich scoring form with a neatly taken finish but not before he had crashed a fine header off the crossbar.
A great game and a great performance but the PoM went to Charlie for his dominant performance in defence and midfield. Well played Charlie. On to Folkestone next week as we count down time to the season starting.
Under 12 McDonalds toppled by super Kings Hill outfit
All one can ask is if the boys learned anything from a comprehensive defeat in the idyllic surroundings of Kings Hill this morning. Plenty of issues for manager Chris Barker to ponder over after a friendly that was in all honesty one-sided. Time to get our heads up and look forward to training on Thursday when it is expected all players will attend – there is, after all, only days to go now before the league kick off. Thanks to parents for their support.
