This now allowed us to go into the league winners Cup final, we started slow showing signs of tiredness and went 1 nil down and even after consistent pressure in the oppositions box we just couldn’t not get the goal we deserved unlucky not get the double trophies.

Summary from The Mount, Faversham

The U13s Pirtek and Faversham Strike Force Lightning provided plenty of talking points in their friendly at The Mount this afternoon. The teams agreed on four 20-minute ‘halves’ with the Green holding their own until tiredness took over at the end. Well done to players who agreed to try out in different positions with five regulars missing. On target for the Green were William, Thomas and Xander. Thanks as always to our terrific band of parents/supporters. Focus at training has to be on tackling as I am afraid we are far too ‘nice’! DH
