More terrific news coming in tonight as the Under 11s hit top form
Ilir Caka reflects upon the sensational form of the Under 11s
What a result Headcorn Hornets x-xx Bromley Green Hurricanes. Wow! Sorry not permitted to give the score but every player was in perfect form. I saw good passing, good challenges, good defence and good shooting. I am very pleased. Player of the Match was Oliver as parents’ choice.
Well done everyone. Keep on with good work and lets enjoy the game!

Under 10s rebuilding
With children leaving the area, jumping ship, plus illness, it has not been an easy pre-season for the Under 10s and manager Damion Truelove. But the boys excelled in their first match of the campaign at Sandyacres on Saturday against Biddenden Juniors. We will do a Player of the Match on Wednesday.

Early news … Under 15s edge local derby with Park Farm Colts, superb stuff from the BG Globals and MILCOL squads; Under 13 McDonalds another narrow defeat and seniors go down at home

Under 7s continue great form (sorry not allowed to give score or surnames)

Cheer up Brucey boi! U7s today Proud moment for Kacper
Under 13 McDonalds
Yet another very good display by the squad but Bromley Green just missed out 2-1 at Sandyacres against Grasshopper Greens. William Spiers was on target for the Green.
BGFC Skoda Caffyns Under 15s 2-1 Park Farm Colts
Our Under 15s bounced back after last week’s setback at Otford to gather maximum spoils from their local derby with Park Farm Colts at Sandyacres. The deciding goals came from Jacob Santer and an assist from Brentley Hone for Joe Clark to secure a 2-1 success for the Green. Player of the Match was Joseph Moloney.
Only two games in our section today
TES Youth 1-7 Otford United Eagles
Bromley Green 2-1 Park Farm Rangers Colts
TSS Youth v Bromley Green Global Under 9s (sorry not allowed to give score or surnames)
Two goals from player of the match Tyler Q earned BG Global a deserved positive result with TSS goalie saving brilliant to deny a hat trick and the win for BG Global. Both teams deserved praise. Green took the lead through Tyler following up a well-saved Daniel V shot; with TSS scoring 2 goals just before half time. Green rallied well and Tyler Q being found well by a Daniel V pass, smashed a thunderous effort into the top corner which no keeper would save. Both teams created chances to take control of the game with Tyler Q again coming close to his hat trick with another blistering strike that the TSS keeper brilliantly finger tipped round the post. Kuba and Daniel V both had opportunities to win the game but couldn’t find a way through in the dying minutes. Well played everyone.

U10 Hurricanes at Wittersham – report below. Well done Tyler our PoM.
Wittersham v Bromley Green Hurricanes U10s: David Bridge reports
Squad : Tyler, Thomas, Daniel, Ethan, Owen, Charlie, Ibrahim, Sean, Alfie, Louis, George, and Nathaniel
The first game of the season was a chilly early start in Wittersham but this didn’t stop the team getting out of the blocks early. A great passing move with the first attack of the day was finished neatly at the back post by Nathaniel.
In a good game of football it was all even at half time. The second half continued in the same way with the Wittersham goal keeper in fine form but some lapses meant Wittersham edged ahead. Thomas pulled one back with a fine goal cutting in from the left wing onto his right foot but it wasn’t quite enough.
Tough first game but the team played as we asked giving everything and passing the ball around nicely. The PoM award for Tyler was well deserved for a dominant display in defence; able to step out often to fire in shots at the keeper. Well played Tyler and the team.
Bromley Green DVS
The Under 8s of Wittersham and Bromley Green DVS entertained with a dozen goals while the DVS Under 12s took the points from a 4-1 local derby victory over Park Farm.
Seniors at Sandyacres
Only a goal from the returning George Mabb to show for our efforts at Sandyacres against Tenterden Town A. A 4-1 defeat. Report to follow.
Four results in our section today
Bromley Green 1-4 Tenterden Town A
Lenham Wanderers Reserves 1-3 Len Valley First
Sellindge SSC 3-1 Biddenden
South Willesborough Rangers 2-1 Woodchurch Reserves

Under 16s update
After discussions last night with several colleagues and myself, Ashley Kennedy, 21, is to oversee training for the Under 16s on Wednesday evenings with a view to becoming manager. I will introduce him to the lads next week and then it is over to him as we rebuild yet again. There are injury, illness and holiday concerns at the moment but, when everybody is back and fit, there is every room for optimism. Thank you DH.
Couple more reliable players needed for our McDonalds U12s
