Happy birthday Saturday to Tyler Jake!
New look McDonalds Under 10s encouraging display – match summary by Aaron Kelly (sorry, not allowed to publish score/scorers)
Excellent game today at Kingsnorth against a very experienced TSS team. Lots to take from it and use for training, passing was good, nice to see some cheeky 1 – 2’s, while the defence is solid! They all worked exceptionally hard for their very first game as a proper unit and there should have been at least three man of the matches! Next Saturday, the boys and girls visit Park Farm Rangers. Postcode is on the Events & Fixtures page.👍
Opening win for the U13 McDonalds
14-0 isn’t a bad way to get off the mark – report from Damo
What a FANTASTIC performance!
I could not be prouder of the effort and performance that was put in by the whole team today. It really was a privilege to watch some beautiful passing football, allowing us to completely outplay the opposition right to the final whistle; eventually racking up a very impressive 14 goals. Goals today came from Ben Hatcher, Sam Spiers, Charlie Wren, Liam O Leary, Taylor Kemp and Inioluwa Enoch. Full credit given to Sellindge Sports and Social Club U13s for battling to the end. They just couldn’t break our solid defence. PoM which was chosen by our opposition (I couldn’t pick one stand out player, as everyone put in all they had) went to Charlie Wren.
Well done to ALL. Keep up the hard work.
Editor: congratulations all. Charlie please receive your McDonalds voucher on Thursday prior to training. Please all note, we will try and start as soon after 5.30pm as possible on Thursday – I appreciate it is a rush but it is getting dark soooooo early now! Thank you
Kingsnorth Pilgrims v Bromley Green Hurricanes U10s report by David Bridge
Squad: Tyler, Thomas, Ethan, Owen, Charlie, Ibrahim, Alfie, Louis, George, Nathaniel
After last weeks washout it was good to get the team back out on the pitch with the sun shining. It was another really good game of football between two closely matched teams. Hurricanes started well with some slick passing movements and took the lead by neatly taken goal by Tyler, latching on to a ball over the top of the defence.
After half time we were penalised for not making our possession and play count with two quick goals against us. However, the team showed real character to battle back and equalised through Tyler’s poachers finish. Both teams continued to push for a winner before Ibrahim popped up to tap one home to cap a good team performance.
Congratulations to the squad for showing real character to fight back and for Nathaniel who was voted the PoTM. Nath awarded for his strong display at the back but equally impressive when pushed up onto the wing.
Fighting comeback as U12s McDonalds record their first victory – summary by Chris Barker
Bromley Green U12s McDonalds travelled away to Wye and gained their first win of the season. We trailed 2-0 at half time but all the boys stepped up in the second half and played some of the best football of the season leaving with a 4-3 victory. A brilliant hat-trick from Charlie Wright and a lobbed goal from Archie Barker gave us all 3 points. McDonalds Player of the match went to Charlie but it could have gone to any of the players. Let’s keep it up and take the good form into next week.
Latest – Green U15s 3-5 Pilgrims. Joe Clark hat-trick not enough for Sid’s boys who began very slowly. Player of the Match Jack Matthews.

Bromley Green Global v Park Farm Colts match summary from Alex Hebbes at Sandyacres [sorry not allowed to put the scores]
Global started slowly and found themselves deep in trouble at x-x down after 10 minutest due to defensive mistakes before Tyler Q pulled one back with a shot that just about beat the strong hand of the Park Farm keeper. Farm went a further goal ahead, and from there the game went goal crazy for BG as Edwin bagged his first of the game and soon followed up with a second to make it x-x at half time. George levelled with a brilliant free kick, and Daniel Vincent squeezed BG ahead, George pushed BG into a x-x lead after great work from player of the match Joey S who influenced many of the chances BG created. Tyler Q put Green further ahead with a smart finish inside the area to make it x-x before Daniel V grabbed his second with a thunderbolt into the top corner. Despite the result, there is work to be done on positional play and moving the ball; but both myself and Marc are pleased with the spirit and the attitude in turning around a game which could have ended very differently. Overall a game of 2 halves. Player of the Match Joey Stopes.
Dreamers please manager Tony Nelson at Rolvenden
We played away to Tenterden today and put together our first win of the season 2-1. Great little performance, even with the worst ref I have seen; but great to see the squad coming together now. Well played squad. Tony.
