Will Lines reports on the Under 18s home game with Faversham Town
Bromley Green 0-3 Faversham Town
A difficult day for the boys where things never really took off offensively. A slow start had us down 2-0 early on and we struggled to get a foothold in the game. We did well to react after the second goal, challenging the opponents more but was always chasing the game. A couple of first half injuries to Ronnie and Dom also set us back a bit. The boys did great to stay in the game and make it harder afternoon for the opposing team which, after the first 15 minutes, looked like they could have run away with it a bit.
Thanks Will

BGFC Under 12s McDonalds two wins on the spin with Truelove double
On Saturday, Bromley Green U12s McDonalds welcomed Smarden Juniors for their first home match of the season.
We started well with a few chances that should have been taken. A goal line clearance from Oliver Burrett and good save from James Truelove kept the score at 0-0. We broke the deadlock with a wonderful long range effort from David Truelove to make it 1-0 at half time.
The second half was much like the first with us not finishing our chances. A nice run from Charlie saw him tripped up in the box to award us a penalty. David stepped up to make it 2-0 and that’s how it finished.
Our first clean sheet of the season. Very proud of an excellent team performance.
McDonalds Player of the Match went to Oliver Burrett who played his first game at CB and was fantastic. I’ve asked parents to be at training by 5:30pm Tuesday. Chris.
Editor’s note: Oliver is unavailable until next weekend, so we will present his voucher on his return
