CLOCKS GO BACK ONE HOUR LAST THING SATURDAY NIGHT

Roll on next season!

Latest result: South Willesborough Rangers 1-1 Bromley Green at The Ridge. On target for the Green was Reece Pringle. The home team were well organised defensively with often 10 men behind the ball but perhaps a draw was a fair result. A first-ever booking for Chris Boxshall somewhat spoilt his day.

Wye Juniors Hurricanes U13 v Bromley Green McDonalds U13
Report from Damo Hatcher
Today we visited Wye Juniors for what turned out to be a soggy affair. But I have to say what a great performance put in by Bromley Green. It turned out to be a very one-sided game, which we controlled from the start, right the way through to the final whistle, making only 1 little defensive mistake resulting in a goal for the home side. However we re-grouped and again began to control racking up a very impressive 11 goals. It’s fantastic to see, as the weeks pass, we as a team click that little bit more. All said I’m very proud of each and every player for today’s efforts. Goals today came from
Inioluwa Enoch, Charlie Wren, Ben Hatcher, Sam Spiers, Danny-Lee Watts 2, William Spiers 3.
11-1 win for us not a bad way to go in to a two-week break.
Well done everyone. Keep it going.
First report in comes from the happy Under 7s. Not allowed to give the score but on target against our friends from TSS were Lennie, Bertie 2, Harry S and Preston. Player of the Match was Buddy while Kacper pulled off some great saves in between the sticks.
Under 9s Globals roaring on … report from Alex Hebbes at Sandyacres
Convincing performance by the BG Global against Tenterden Tigers, with George scoring the opener after just 30 seconds and Daniel Vincent following up after 4 mins and 6 mins to give Global a dominating lead. Leo got on the score sheet and George followed up with his second. Tyler Quarrie making it 6 before half time. Green kept pressure on and an own goal put us further ahead, with Daniel Vincent scoring his hat trick with a 20 yarder. Leo notched his 2nd and Kuba rounded off the scoring with 2 to complete the best team performance we have seen this season. Player of the Match Daniel Vincent with Leo very close, everyone played well and the performance was a joy to behold after a scrappy first 5 mins.

From David Bridge at Biddenden
Biddenden U10s v Bromley Green Hurricanes U10s
Squad : Thomas, Alfie, Charlie, Ethan, Ibrahim, Owen, Nathaniel, George, Louis and Daniel
Our final game before the mini lockdown for the league turned out to be an exciting end to end affair. The team started really confidently, passing the ball well and Nathaniel had several good chances, adapting well to his first game up front. The pressure told and Nathaniel put Bromley Green ahead with a well taken low hit shot. Biddenden came back into the game and equalised with a lofted shot from long range.
After half time both teams had chances with the cross bar saving us and Biddenden’s excellent goalkeeper performing well. A mix up at the back and Biddenden edged ahead but again team kept their heads up. A well worked move down the right led to an inch perfect cross from Ibrahim for Thomas to nicely sweep home with well struck shot.
Always difficult to pick PoM but this week for his hard work on the wings, willingness to take his man on and get his shots away, it goes to Owen. Congratulations to Owen (below). Few weeks off now then hopefully get some football in before weather turns.

Runaway ADYFL U15 leaders Otford Eagles swoop again
