Birthday greetings Sunday to Paula Butcher and Scot Field!
Happy 60th birthday greetings to Vice President, former player and manager, Alvin Gigg

First up today – friendly news from Global manager Alex Hebbes

We lost 2-1 today despite a goal from Daniel Vincent after a brilliant piece of centre forward play by Tyler Quarrie to switch the play. Equaliser courtesy of a set piece not cleared and Park Farm, two divisions higher than us, hit the winner from a direct free kick. Player of the match – Ethan.
From the Ashford & District Sunday League
The League Council has taken the difficult decision to cancel all games until after the New Year it would not like to see any “friendlies” take part as this would be against the decision made and contrary to the spirit of us all keeping safe during the run up to Christmas.
Training is allowed for a Club (not two clubs having a game). The Kent FA guide for training in Tier 3 is:
All participants (ie adult and youth) should minimise contact in training where possible eg minimise tackles/any drills or practices that require close contact.
All protocols on social distancing, hand sanitising equipment sharing, facilities and NHS test and Trace must be strictly adhered to.
Please keep safe and do not play friendlies in the run up to Christmas.
Saturday afternoon
Chairman not happy with what he witnessed at Sandyacres this afternoon in a comprehensive defeat at the hands of title aspirants Sellindge SSC. Alex Hebbes will wait for official reports but described events as “farcical” on a number of counts. We now sit below mid-table with just two wins and next Saturday visit a Tenterden side that has won all its home fixtures. As coach Ian Mace lamented afterwards “We need to sort ourselves out soon as this cannot carry on”. Training is at Repton on Wednesday 7pm.
Results in our Division
Bromley Green 0 – 6 Sellindge SSC
