Match result and reports
The weather today tried to do its best to hamper the games, but well down to everyone who played today.
U9 Dream Team
We played at home against Staplehurst u9s
Today was a first against Staplehurst, neither team knew each other and that created and end to end game.
Was entertaining and nice to see two teams play their own style, at times and was a battle but we continued as we have since lockdown with emerge and a high press and playing with some nice finishes.
Bromley Green Hurricanes U10s v Bromley Green McDonalds U10s
Before the game, both teams impeccably held a minutes silence in honour Jordan Banks one of our football family sadly taken too early. What followed was a thrilling game against these two teams and club mates in some appalling weather.
Why it decided to pour down just for the match was anyone’s guess. Anyway, both teams battled well and tried to play football despite the conditions.
The game showed some great football from both sides before the McDonalds team scored their first headed goal.
Nathaniel was POTM today for the Hurricanes – constantly a threat down the left, always working hard and topped off a good performance with a goal. Well played Nathaniel and both teams today, not easy in the conditions and a closely fought game played in a good spirit.

U14 V Staplehurst
The U14’s faced a tough test this week away to Staplehurst that was very strong, with resulted in the away team losing.

Wye Juniors v Bromley Green U8’s
A tough away game for the boys today up in the Kent Downs, with a good crowd braving the wet and cold.
The team started poorly, but once they found their stride they played some great football moving the ball well but unable to find an accurate shot.
Second half started well with both Keepers being called into action, earning Cooper “safe hands” Beeching the MOTM trophy.
U9 Global
The Global team played against a strong side from local rivals TSS, played in an honest fashion which saw both side trying their best to succeed in the game.
