BRING FRIENDS … YOU CAN JUST TURN UP AND BE WELCOMED!
Ground: Waterside, Turner Close, Ashford, Kent TN24 0PQ
All welcome … we are a Standard Charter community family club established over ninety years
Midweek bits and pieces …
- Dean needs a referee this Sunday 2pm for the DVS U12s home game with Herne Bay Cobras – anyone out there available, please contact Dean Mansfield or Dave Homewood asap – thank you.
- U14s EKYL – yet another reminder that ALL kit must be returned to DH by tonight … so please bring clothes to change into. Former Pirtek players who are no longer with us, again please get the garments back to the club to enable Leah-Ann to keep proper stocks. I will wash them – just return them please. The new strip, sponsored by Michelle Webb’s Childminding, is ready for use as soon as everyone has complied.
- Sponsors needed for our new Ladies team and Wayne with his Under 10s … do come forward if you can help.
- Friday 22 October is the Family Community Pop-in for local residents and I appeal for some members of staff to attend from 11am to help set up and welcome any visitors. Some councillors, and officers from ABC that have helped us, have already confirmed they will pop-in. The event itself only lasts from 12 midday until 2pm – so do come and chat and explain the work we do for charities, those with disabilities and the local community.
- Welfare have ruled that there is to be no Friday night winter training for young children. This is to comply with FA recommendations and is to be observed.
- Managers wishing to train day time during half-term, please discuss with DH as toilets, refreshments etc can be provided with sensible prior notice.
