Mickey Mabb double as first team win 5-3 against Smarden
Three points for the firsts thanks to a 5-3 victory over Smarden at Waterside with Mickey Mabb (2), Lenny Russell, Tommy Hilden and an own goal making up our tally. Next Saturday, the boys are away to Woodchurch.
Reserves win 4-2 in sensational Saturday for the Green with keeper Ryan Hodges outstanding
Bromley Green Reserves won their first game of the season with a huge performance at Wittersham on Saturday.
Ryan Hodges had already cemented his Player of the Match award by half time saving 5 or 6 one on ones.
Tom Linford managed to harass the Wittersham back line into conceding on Greens only chance of the first half.
The second half saw Wittersham find their shooting boots to take a 2-1 lead. Wittersham were denied a 3rd goal through a foul on Hodges. New signing Daryl Whiffen smashed in the equaliser with his first shot on his debut.
Chris Boxshall scored the 3rd and Kyle Saunders slotted in the 4th to secure the first maximum points haul since being re-formed.

An emphatic 8-1 success for Sid and the U16s. On target were Brentley, Jacob 2, Ollie 2, Tom, Joe Clark, and Theo. Alex White was our Player of the Match.

An entertaining affair at Waterside as Chris Barker’s squad emerged 5-2 victors over Yalding & Laddingford. Benjamin Ojo hit a brace with the tally made up by Harley White, Daeyaan Naunko and Oliver Burrett.

Match report BG U10s v Ramsgate U10s
So we played today at home against a strong Ramsgate team, who made the game enjoyable from the off , they did not come to make up numbers and showered from the off their ability to get amongst it and break up play and play football.
Once we started to play football the chances started to come but it wernt to midway from when we got our noses Infront with a superb bit of play and great finish from Geroge.
2nd half we came out and imposed out football much better and more and more attacks started to be created , with Kai and Brad getting on the score sheet.
Good game well played to both teams.

Martyn Smith delighted with the Under 12s Double J Boxing squad
Goals from Player of the Match James Worthington (2), a Joe Nicholson free kick and a penalty converted by Tyler Sorsbie saw Martyn and company return home with a terrific 4-2 triumph following a tough encounter with Folkestone outfit Dynamo. 3-1 to the Green at the interval – keep it going boys and girls!

New signings for seniors lined up to make their debuts this weekend
A number of new signings have been completed in readiness for this weekend with former youth player ‘Old Boy’ Joe Griffin returning on Sundays after several years away. Alex has also been busy with Daryl Whiffen moving over from Len Valley and Aylesford-based Jason Thomson expected to make their debuts. Update: Jason is unwell.
Brian and his charges entertain highly-rated Smarden at Waterside while Alex and co are off to Wittersham (both games kick off at 2.45pm). Sunday offers three challenges with the firsts away to AFC Guildhall, the reserves at home to Folkestone United Reserves and the thirds at ‘home’ to Hugin Vikings at the Jackey Bakers Field. All Sunday fixtures get under way at 10.30am.
Meanwhile, Damion Truelove is looking to build a winning team and has added Henry and Joshua Clark to his McDonalds squad. Lots of new faces at training … welcome!
Those who attend the Thursday night goalkeeping sessions, please note only two more weeks remain due to the clocks changing. So a winter break is looming – but rest assured Grant will resume activities next March.
U18s TMS go down 6-0 away but lots of promise, Daniel Ellis and Tyler Quarrie netted for Ricky and co but we lost 5-2 largely as a result of silly mistakes.
