Executive Committee meeting this evening 6.30pm. Can those that are attending please email me and I will forward a list of the main items for discussion – thank you. Matt McKirgin, the clubhouse will be open considerably earlier for your electrical work in the kitchen prior to the meeting – cheers Dave.
Need ‘someone’ to clean the rear gutters out please – they appear to be growing plants! I would do it myself but anything above 3 feet and I suffer from vertigo.
Extra training tonight for the Under 18s TMS in the MUGA 6.30pm. Results generally have not gone our way to date but we have every confidence in Neil and Patrick turning things round.
Saturday’s emphatic win at Great Chart gives us a home tie in round 2 of the Weald of Kent Charity Cup against the winners of Biddenden versus The Fountain. Also drawn at home are our reserves who welcome the first team of Woodchurch.
No action whatsoever for ourselves on Sunday; but here are the results from two cups we are interested in:
Kent Sunday Cup: Ashford United Thirds 9-0 Kent Sands United
Sheber Cup: Biddenden 6-1 Brewmaster Reserves; Hamstreet v Guildhall – tie awarded to Hamstreet; Park Farm 1-5 Folkestone Reserves; Radnor Park Rovers 1-4 Pilgrims
Next Sunday (7 November) sees two Sheber fixtures: Fox v Ashford United Thirds and Lolzors v Tenterden Town
