Birthday greetings today to former players Tony Smith, Stewart Blake and Max Bourne. During the good old days, Tony made 176 senior appearances netting on 37 occasions.
The weather is doing its best to spread misery again! Grant will be making.the ground inspection this afternoon – it does not look good at all.
Exciting expansion for Under 11s
The increasing numbers joining the club for Under 11 football has led to us applying for a January start in the Faversham & District League. Damion Truelove and Daniel Houghton will oversee the venture and children will eventually be registered to play for both teams [as they are in different leagues]. This will avoid any child feeling left out. Any parent wanting further details is welcome to email dhomewood@yahoo.com. A get-together for all players and parents is to be held on Monday 13 December 2021 @6.30 for a 7pm sharp start. Everybody welcome – free food / refreshments.
Our next aim is to provide the U7/8 group with matches – there must be a keen and suitable person amongst our new coaches that would like a real challenge. Again, in the first instance, please contact dhomewood@yahoo.com.
