New Romney v Bromley Green Hurricanes Under 11s
Report by David. Bridge
A short trip down to the coast to play New Romney in windy conditions. With the wind against us in the first half, the team played some lovely football against a top New Romney team to go in at half time level.
The second half produced an even better performance and even with a strong wind behind us, the team continued to play the ball on the floor. It was probably our best passing performance of the season and pleasing to see the teams hard work in training paying off.
PoM difficult with some outstanding performances from the goalkeeper to our strikers. Hard to name individual players but special mention to Dan stepping back in goal and Sean adding further to his seasons goal tally. However, for his box to box performance, tackling, passing and setting up the first goal with a fantastic run, PoTM went to Charlie. Congratulations Charlie and the team adding to this fantastic start to the league since the new year.
