Monday birthday greetings to Bradley Hodges – have a great day Brad!
RKH – the start of a new adventure

New RKH smiling despite big defeat
The fledgling U9 squad enjoyed their meeting with Courtside in a friendly and both sides deserve praise for battling through adverse weather conditions. The visitors always had us on the back foot but the little Greens never gave up and manager Andrew Naunko was full of praise for their efforts.
Training at Repton during the week and an away game next Saturday. Well done everybody and a special mention for Alex Carrott who excelled between the sticks.

Alfie loved his first day at the Green. Seen here with manager Andrew Naunko after today’s game, Alfie’s birthday was yesterday and his present was the famous BGFC hat.

Emeralds draw at Bearsted – report from Simon Oldfield

With only a few matches left in our very first season playing in a league and with the confidence we have been building over the last few weeks with the fantastic performances in matches since the Christmas break, we today headed to Bearsted. Our opponents are an established and experienced team who are second to top in the league and 20 points ahead of us.
But the girls didn’t let that deter them and from the beginning right through to the end they put in a strong and thrilling performance, working well together and showing just how far they have come since September.
We held Bearsted to a 2-2 draw, goals scored by Ruby L and a goal from a corner taken by Ruby which bounced off a player but not sure whether it was Catalina or Maddie to credit it with!
No fixture next Sunday, so we will have training 1.30 – 3pm.
