UNDER 10 EKYL

Well done Bubba! U10s EKYL voucher with Wayne Brooks

On target in the EKYL for the U10s were Dexter and Kai – great game, well done all!

Report from Marc Collins

A thrilling game up at Charing ended in a fair draw after some exciting end to end football being played by both teams. We fell a goal behind after a bit of hesitant defending, but soon hit level after great pressing by Kai and Dexter resulting in Dex rifling an unstoppable drive into the top bin.
Good wing play from Charing no.10 saw us go 2-1 down after again leaving it too late to close down the shot.  This Green side never gives though and we grew into the game more and more until our pressure was rewarded with an equaliser after brilliant quick feet from Kai who slotted in at the near post .
Somehow the 2nd half was goalless after both teams missed chances to get the win but in fairness a draw was definitely the fair result.

Cracking game from 2 very competitive sides and I’m sure the great number of supporters that came down to watch, went home happy to watch a very entertaining game.

Impossible to pick a POTM from the squad today so everyone to the award for a superb team effort

Bromley Green Hurricanes U11s v Biddenden report from David Bridge

Another closely fought game, as always, against a strong, direct Biddenden team. The team continued to try get the ball down and play which led to another goal for Sean’s tally from an excellent bit of work by Owen down the left. Ethan scored Bromley Green’s second with a rocket from outside the area into the top corner. The team was unlucky to concede an equaliser just before half time from a corner.

Second half was pretty even with chances at either end. We was always threat with our passing and the defence held firm. Special mention for Louis and Nate at the back who marshalled the defence really well. PoM went to Ethan today at full back; was strong at the back but still managed to get forward and topped it off with his goal. Congratulations Ethan and the team on another good result

Proud backers of Bromley Green FC Under 18s

Half-seven in the morning and the U9 RKH squad are already here! Brilliant and a fine example to us all. Reminder that, as covid slowly melts away, all teams should meet at the clubhouse and return to the clubhouse. Welfare needs to know where.players, especially tiny ones, are! Thank you.

Sunday Reserves – we are still trying to arrange a friendly after the disappointment of the cancellation.

Updates as they arrive and – PLEASE park sensibly – thank you
