Thanks to Lisa Cotton for relaying the events concerning the fire in Mallards on Tuesday evening. A mention for Ricky, Billy, Marc and Richard for their willingness to help, especially with the frightened dogs. Praise also for the players who kept calm in a scary situation – I will be speaking to McDonalds about a possible night out.
North School hall update from Simon Oldfield is that the exams officer has stated the hall IS available this week and next. Not available from 11 March onwards. Quite frankly we can get by then on the 3g or our own MUGA or even share at Pitchside @6.45pm. Keep smiling! And do not blame the messenger.
Birthday greetings Wednesday to Tony Beale, Cieran Kelly, Braydon Gillam and Anthony Lawrence
Clubhouse open Wednesday from 4pm – 7.15pm only. Training in the MUGA for Damion and Peter. If the grass is not too bad, then please keep well away from the pitches/goalmouths and bat and trap strip. Thank you.
Regarding indoor training at the North, sorry but Shane received no notification of exams being held in the hall. For this evening, we are paying big money for outdoors at the North and at Pitchside (6.45pm with Ian) – surely, with a bit of working together, our teams can all be accommodated.
At last, following the miserable two years of covid, lockdowns, pandemic and cancelled events, we are getting back into the swing of things and Tuesday night was the perfect return to having fun. Thanks to our High Street hosts and sponsors McDonalds who, as always, looked after us superbly.
