Goals from Archie Crocker (2), Jacob Santer (2) and Theo Batkin saw us to a comfortable 5-0 semi-final victory over Hythe at a sunny Waterside this morning. Well done to Sid, Wayne and all the squad and good luck for the final on 14 May against old rivals Otford who overcame Grasshoppers 4-0.

Under 10 Tigers roaring – manager’s report below

They’re doing so well even though they lost 5-1. Tiana and Billy Jo were little warriors today making tackles everywhere and Olly Burden pulled off some quality saves in goal.
It was a great team move getting Olly Picton his second goal in as many matches. And the team are working much better together and showing real progress both as a group and individually.
I’m really proud of them and think they could do with a little well done, even though results aren’t going their way just yet. They will though … they really will.

David Bridge reports from Great Chart
Friendly Kingsnorth Pilgrims v Bromley Green Hurricanes U11s
Our first game at 11-a-side against our close neighbours and one we certainly didn’t deserve to lose. Team started well and took an early lead with a nice passing move and clinical finish from Owen. However, with 11-a-side on 9-a-side pitch it was quite hectic and packed. Pilgrims equalised just before half time.
Second half was a bit of an experiment with formation and positions and we fell behind to two scrappy goals. The team didn’t give up and pulled one back via Thomas following up his own back post header with a nice finish. Team continued to push but couldn’t find equaliser.
Lots of positives and good performances but PoM was Louis today, who was dominant in defence in several different positions.

Good game but Fountain end cup hopes

We led for a while but, at the final count, reduced to ten men, ended up on the wrong end of a 6-2 scoreline.
