Great entertainment at Waterside … more photos to follow

Bromley Green took on Folkestone Invicta in what we hope to make an annual tournament. A good crowd arrived in great weather to support both teams and hopefully spend some money in the bar!
The tournament opened with a narrow 1-0 loss for Bromley Green Avery Builders against Folkestone Invicta. Team battled well but was unlucky to lose to a late own goal. Second game saw Bromley Green Letts Decorate start well but fell behind to some quick goals against Folkestone Invicta Colts, final score 4-0.
In a different format parents pulled Bromley Green club back into it with a penalty shoot out win. Dave Cook performing heroics in Bromley Green goal.
Bromley Green Avery Builders then came from 2-0 down to draw against Folkestone Invicta Colts and unlucky not to win. It all came down to the last game with Bromley Green needing a win to take the trophy. It wasn’t to be with BG Letts Decorate unlucky to lose 1-0 to Folkestone Invicta.
A great day between four good teams played in the right spirit. Hopefully do it all again next year.
