Bromley Green vs Park farm rangers (semi final cup match)
In a gritty ashford derby semi final the boyz came out victorious. We started the game very lively and the shape of the team looked solid we played some nice football making some quality one on one chances but the park farm goalie done well to read the situtations.park farm pushed us but a great display of defending from the back 4 kept them at bay limiting park farm to long shots.midfield work hard up and down with zac c debut boy tyrece q in at right back would form partner ship on the right .sonny w and billy h control the centre of the park breaking up play and making chances ,leftside phelan s and louis p where patroling it with some good support play.meanwhile up front charlie m was causing problems for the parkfarm defence with his hold up play and spreading the play when he could.halftime came 0-0.
Second half kick off it was a very cagey 15 minutes both teams where not giving alot away jack b ,ryley b ,phelan s tyrece q defened the goal well and played the line well ,
Lenny r came on and worked for the team and put agood shift in .all of a sudden billy h has released hayden d who would sprint threw and bury the ball in the top corner 1-0.
5 minutes to go we rode a minor storm and the ball would break in their half and the gaffa gave the shout to take the ball in the corner to run the clock down ,we would have 3 throw ins in the corner and billy h see gap by the byeline and went for it to look up and pass it to charlie m for a tap in game set match 2-0 bromley green.
Just like to say i am very proud of the boyz in which has been amazing cup run but only 3/4z of the job is done and i believe that they can go on and finish the job and come back with the cup .but know we return to the league with a home game against ashford utd on sunday and 3 points is a must and time to take are cup form into the league ,once again boyz congratulations u all deserve to go to the cup final

Match date 15.2.2015 Hawkinge Youth 5 Bromley Green 1
Report by Damian Morse
This is one of the hardest match reports i have ever had to write,A big change from a gritty cup performance last week.
We started the half not at are best and got caught by a early goal which woke the boyz up and we counter attacked and got the equalizer and we settled down .But we seemed to stand off 10 to 15 yards of there midfield and we would be punished for it for the rest of the of the game as the scoreline shows. Next week is the semi finals of the cup so i expect all boys at training wednesday night as there are 10 spaces up for grabs cheers gaffa
8.2.2015 Bromley green v Hawkinge youth (quarter finals of the cup)
Report by Damian Morse
After 8 weeks with out a game the boys faced top of the table hawkinge who may of thought they where going to walk into the semi finals just by turning up at the waterside but the boys had other ideas as the first half would unfold.
Boyz started the half looking to stamp there authority on the game and it wasnt long before the boyz drew first blood when the greens broke down the hawkinge midfield and slipped a threw ball to hayden d would cooly tuk in the bottom corner 1-0 .
Boys in the back line defended there half very well and great headers where won tackles timed to perfection and with the number 1 behind them pulling some great saves out of the bag it looked a solid unit .
Midfield played a massive part in pulling a well deserved result off working for each other and putting some lovely threw balls in for hayden to walk off with a first half hat trick. Hawkinge scored a penalty. 3-1
Changes where made at half time fresh legs in louis p and lenny r and the gaffa went to 442.
Boys came out and started were they left off and soon it was 4-1 with another goal from hayden d know the gaffa was starting to see the semi final in touching distance .
The boys kept control off the game but a silly free kick was awarded and hawkinge would score 4-2.It wasnt long before a long range lob shot from ryan h would catch the goalie flapping like a traffic warden 5-2 ,i think us coaches call it dreamland .10 minutes from the end hawkinge were awarded another set piece and scored there 3rd goal 5-3.
In last 5 minutes the boys would have the last say and would be hayden d with his fifth goal of the day final score 6-3 we march on into a all ashford derby against a lively park farm side . Just like to say boyz a very proud moment for me sunday a great squad performance ,if we take one game at time keep are feet on the ground any thing is possible
Cheers The Gaffa.

Training on 23 December 2014!
7.12.2014 Bromley Green v Trinity (cup game) 5-1 win
The boyz started the game with some sharpness to there play and where working hard as a unit .Trinty looked quite lively with some good counter attacking football which the boyz seemed to break them down with some good defencsive work from the back three sonny w ryley b and ollie h looking very solid and very diciplined performances weldone boyz.
Also a fantastic game from are no 1 great one on one save
A shot stop which he got down to very well great game alfie.
Meanwhile on both flanks louis p and zac c was looking very lively working there socks off up and down the line ,zac would go on to give the trinty fullback a tored time delivring quality crosses into the box to make a goal for ryan h on his debut in the ekyl.louis p was a breath of fresh air down the lefthand side linking up with hayden and billy h who bossed the midfield with ryan h all working in tandom .second goal would come before halftime with hayden d hitting a rocket which would hit the crossbar and hit the goalie and went in 2-0 a nice cusion coming into halftime.
Second half began and kuba was introduced onto the right wing another boy who was making his ekyl debut and it didnt take him long to settle as he went onto put the team 3-0 up a great start.Charlie m playing the no 10 role was in the thick of things and was unlucky not to notch but fantastic hold up play and bringing teammates into play was great .the boys would go on to score a fourth with a second goal from ryan h a well struck shot from outside the box.
Trinty would go on and get a penalty for a trip in the box which they would score 4-1 but alfie was very close to saving it a good leap from the no1.
Tyrece q played the lone striker and worked hard chasing defenders down and gambling on everything that came his way but not to be his day infront of goal .Last 5mins of the game zac c was put on up front and would go on notch and make it 5-1 fulltime. just like to say big thank u to all parents for helping run line and packing goals away and running the boys halfway round kent hope u all have great christmas and happy new year
7.12.2014 Brilliant Cup win by Green … more photos and details on the Home Page … full report to follow here … well done boys … now for Hawkinge!
2.11.2014 Bromley green v Park farm rangers
Sunday bought my old footballing buddy lenny g and his team to the waterside for a very eventful game of football ,which my boys knew they would have to put in a shift to get something out of the game .
Weather conditions were poor wind and heavy rain but it didnt stop the boys from playing there football.
Whisle blew game started first 10mins was very tight but boys where knocking the ball around and looking good when against the run of play went 0-1 down which didnt seem to nock the boys they carried on playing keeping the ball and making good goal scoring chances but it didnt seem to go are way we came in at halftime feeling abit hard done bye but changes where made zac cowley would be thrown in the mix up .Also good starts for the welcomed back phelan s and debut ollie h who seemed to be buzzing and showing the gaffa what he saw in him.
2nd half kicked off again defence was looking solid midfield and strikers working togeather boys where finding the width but again against the run off play we found ourselves 0-2 down ,know it was time to see how the boys reacted ,and to every action there is a reaction and the boys dug there heals in and gave the last 11minutes of the game everything they had ,before we knew billy h is given a lovely threw ball to run on to and win a 50 50 with the goalie and slot home for1-2 ,game on the boys where straight back in knocking the ball around when it breaks out to the left on the 18 yard box and ollie h finding his selve one on one with the keeper to lob home the equalizer and seal a debut man of the match performance well done ollie. As the game went in to the dying seconds we put more presure on the park farm goal ,ball dropped nicely for zac c to blast into the roof of the net 3-2 and the ref would blow seconds after the winning goal.
Just like to say a big weldone today boys great charater 100% effort teamwork was great and you played some good football .the gaffa

Terrific win at Dover
Woodnesbourgh vs Bromley Green u13s (cup game 2nd round)
Sunday afternoon was a roadtrip down to sandwiches where the boys wiped the opposition to the side with a good performance of football and treated mums and dads to a goal fest .louis p would start the goal rout with his first goal this season and finished well and enjoyed every second of it well done lou. Soon after hayden the beast lets a rocket go for well deserved 0-2 lead which would be cut down by the home side to 1-2 .After that the boys uped the level and some good football was played from the back threw the middle and out wide and great forward runs coming from billy and charlie who would go on to make five goals fantastic game from the number 10.
Fantastic perfomance from the midfield zac cowley delivering crosses ,lenny russell battling putting threw balls into the right places who would notch a goal for his hardwork and a well deserved man of the match.11 goals were scored all in all with jack brown scoring to great goals one of them from a corner hayden d scored 5,
Billy h scored 2 ,zac cowley 1.
One of the highlights of my afternoon was seeing a football traveling about 20 to 25 mph towards tyrece q who would jump and control the ball with chest so perfectly and then deliver the cross to go with it (job satifaction lol).
Another solid performance from the back four and alfie n who would end up sitting on his backside due to bordem .
Great start to the cup run and Trinty visit the Waterside on the 9th november ,all we can do is take each game as it comes and enjoy every minute of it . The gaffa
Dover rangers vs bromley green u13s
Boys started the game very lively and its fair to say they proberly had 80% of the possession for 20 minutes of the game but against the run of play Dover broke free and there striker finished with a low hard shot.
This seemed to nock the boys abit and confidence was down, but they dug deep won the ball back and with a quick pass and move where back in the game with leveller from billy harkness. It was nt long before the boys where back with the balland hayden dyke with a low hard drive in the corner 2 -1 to to greens .Halftime came and the gaffa went to work changing the system from the christmas tree to 4,4,2 changing sonny wirt out to right back who would end up with the man of the match for such a solid performance and being such a mobile player.
Second half kicked off and the boys seemed more relaxed with the 442 and the wingers had more freedom with louis phelan coming off the bench and showing improvement every performance with quick feet and vision settled into the game nicely ,the football was being played around nicely when hayden dyke let one go from 25 yards like a rocket 3-1 to the greens in total control the boys came close to making it 4-1 with a cheeky chip from charlie morse but the crossbar would deny him, charlie worked hard on the front line and seemed to enjoy the company of billy h who would go on to put us 4-1 up with a header with a great delivery from zac cowley on the right wing.
Boys would go on to get a fifth goal with across from hayden d which came of the shins of zac c to make it 1-5 to the greens ,dover went on to score a second goal with the finalscore 2-5 to bromley green.
Just like to say that the boys showed great charecter to come back from 1-0 away from home. And great performance from the midfield and a great performance from sonny w at right back and alfie n great handling and kicking was solid .100% for effort but some lessons to be learnt . The gaffa

Butlins update 17 September 2014
Please note for Butlins, the organisers have recommended that each family books their own accommodation [it will still be under the club banner as the camp is dedicated to the football festival that weekend]. This will work out cheaper and fairer for adults and families with several children … plus everybody can choose their type of accommodation. There is a ‘click here’ facility and I will email out the message with the details. There is no code to fill in as the form is pre-populated with Bromley Green/date etc. Those few parents who have already paid money will get it all back from me less £20 for the player. The £20 from each player will pay for the team entry, pennants and any other sundries that are needed. So, I need just £20 from each player. All other money will be paid through the recommended process. Hope that makes sense and I will be emailing you all soon! Regards
Bromley green u13s vs Trinty fc
After getting off to aflyer the week before the boyz had there work cut out against a very well organized side in trinty. The first half kicked off and was a very cagey half off football and both teams where not giving alot away very few chances made and it seemed to be a battle of wills who would win the midfield battle, alas trinity would break just before the interval which seemed to nock the boyz confidence abit.
Boys went back out there for the 2nd half which we all knew it would be hard chasing a game at 1-0 against a big and phyical side was going to be hard and with abare 11 tiurd legs would kick in .we tryed to play football but it didnt seem to run the boyz way which football can be creul like that sometimes.
Trinty went on to finish 0-3 winners of that game and much deserved win to the boyz from ramsgate who showed passion desire and a will to win.
To my eleven boyz who played sunday just like to say well done and keep your heads up as one lose means nothing it is what ulearn and take out of this game that counts.
Happy birthday Billy!

Ashford United 0-5 Bromley Green
Report by Damian Morse
Great start to the league campaign with a 5-0 win to the boys who had been under a bit of ashford utd playground banta who could talk the talk but could not walk the walk.
Ashford came out looking like they meant buisness but the bromley green boyz soaked up the early pressure and utd seemed to run out of ideas and seemed to resort to dirty tactics buy kicking lumps out of the boys. After 10 minutes the baby of the bunch takes a chance in front of goal to put the boyz 0-1 up well done tyrese.
Once the first goal had gone in that seemed to settle the nervs and the boys went up a couple of gears sonny w running the middle of the park and hayden d with his pace and strength wing backs zac john boy working the line and good crosses .last ten minutes of the 1st half goal of the season contender billy harkness flicks the ball up hits it on the volley which the poor ashford goalkeeper is rooted to the line .Big well done to lenny r who made a full debut in the EKYL dew to one of the boys having there nee twisted (poor phe)Lenny stepped up and played a great game well inpressed. Louis p came off the bench making his EKYL debut and played and important role in the midfield welldone lou.
Half time came and the boys came in knowing that half the job was done and the gaffa and dave harkness told the boys to keep doing what we where doing it was a short halftime talk as the boys took great pleasure in watching the ashford utd boys getting told off by there gaffa ha ha
Again bromley green pined them back in their half with no nonense defending and the front runners movement was to much for ashford and before we new it we where 0 3 with hayden d hitting a screamer of the post.
Lot of bad sportsmanship coming from the ashford boys but the boys did not let this get to them and as always good football prevaled and enother goal was scored tyrece q with a brace welldone mate.
Ashford kick off and it was nt long before bromley green had the ball back at there mercy and ashford where chasing shadows once again a quick inter change of passes from defence to midfield to billy h to loop the ball over the goalkeeper great finish in any level of football.
To all the boyz who played to day it was a brillant game to watch and everybody was quality keep your hardwork up.
And a big get well to manshead phelan s
We need to talk …
Do you want to go to Butlins in May? [Basic info sheet above]
Message from Dave Homewood: the plan is for the squad [plus the manager, club officials, and a few parents] to enter the ESF tournament at Butlins next year. We leave on Friday 1 May and return on Monday 4 May. Cost is £140 per person which includes entry to the tournament, accommodation, pennants etc; but not food! To secure the early booking prices, we need to have commitment to go by the end of next week please [ideally, confirm with me on Wednesday 20 August at training or inform Damian]. U13 pre-season friendly
Bromley Green v Folkestone Invicta
Damian Morse reports from Waterside
We kicked off our pre-season campaign on Sunday with my boys playing their first 11v11 game against a very experienced Folkestone Invicta side. We played 3 halves of 25 minutes.
During the first 25 minutes the boys had the bit between their teeth in a new formation in the Christmas tree and they took to it like ducks to water. Solid performances throughout the squad with the goalscorers being Tyrese Q and Hayden D while in defence both wing backs impressing in Zac C, John Boy and solid in the middle of the park with Sonny W and Hayden D with great movement and good interplay from our frontrunners who seemed to enjoy the big pitch – Billy H, Charlie M and Tyrese Q causing Folkestone’s defence problems – a great 25 minutes. Score 2-1 (first half)
After a promising 25 minutes it was time for a change around and new signings Lenny R and Owen M came off the bench to make their debuts for EKYL U13s and gave solid performances – well done boys! I changed the system to 4-4-2 to see how the boys would cope and they did not disappoint; while another player making his debut was Louis Phelan who came on to play in the midfield and excelled in a very tough half which was dominated in the midfield. The Green boys played very well, using the space and creating chances and leaving that half in a 2-2 draw. The boys can be considered very unlucky not to win that half but another solid 25 minutes.
Again in the next 25 minutes it was time for further changes as we went to a 4-3-3 to see how we would get on. By this time the temperature had risen and tired legs were showing but the boys kept going and tried to play their football. Unfortunately fitness was the key and Folkestone came away with 2-1 win from that period.
Quick message to my U13s: very pleased with Sunday but there is a lot of hard work ahead and it’s vital everyone is on board. Most important is that we believe what we are trying to achieve and enjoy every minute of it. Thanks, the Gaffa.
