Players for the future
(if you would like to be featured, talk to Dave Homewood)

1 Louis [Bromley Green U15s]

9.12.2013 U15s training Louis BurtonFourteen-year-old Louis was born in Ashford and is in his first full season, having joined the Green in July of last year. He is currently the first choice keeper for the championship winning Under 15s and is eagerly looking forward to the challenges during May when we pit our wits against professional clubs with our two trips to Bognor and Bolton.

Previous clubs are Ashford Borough and Kennington while he has also been picked for the Ashford & District Representative side. A supporter of Gillingham and Chelsea, Louis would like the chance to become a pro himself.

In addition to football, Louis enjoys fishing and x-box while a major dislike is mushrooms!

2 Josh [Bromley Green U15s]

Bognor ESF Tournament Under 15s May 2014[9] Josh TwymanBorn in the William Harvey (the hospital, not the pub) on 1 September 1998, versatile Josh is about to begin his third season at the club.

Formerly of Ashford Town and Ashford Borough, Josh is a Chelsea fan and says his ambition in the game is simply “to win”. In fact, he has just played his part in the Under 15s brilliant run-in to take the Ashford & District Youth League title by a wide margin as well as gaining experience at the ESF Tournament and the Bolton Youth Cup.

Josh, who will soon be looking to ease himself into senior football, likes football and peng girls but has a distinct disliking for ‘Mr Hard Man’. For entertainment he goes for Fast and Furious, prefers Dance music, whilst his favourite holiday destination is Spain. Hot chocolate is his favourite drink while top of the eating list is Chinese.

Josh would like to see the club do more to ensure better surfaces on our pitches … there’s something to occupy your mind in the summer then Joshua!
